I guess we now want those higher in the league to beat those lower in the league, which means a Palace win over Southampton !

I thought I'd accidentally put on a Celtic match. Turns out that is Man City's away shirt.

Newcastle 0-0 Aston Villa
A lovely cross-field pass by Fabian Schar finds Joelinton lurking just outside the box and the Brazilian forces Emiliano Martínez into a save.
The ball threatens to bobble from Martinez's grasp and he collides with team-mate Tyrone Mings.
Martinez is hurt and receiving treatment on the pitch.

Tyrone: I didn't see it there.
Vinny: It's a four ton truck, Tyrone. Its not as if it's a packet of f***ing peanuts, is it?
Tyrone: It was a funny angle.
[All three turn and look back at the truck]
Vinny: It's behind you Tyrone. Whenever you reverse, things come from behind you

A real howler of a backpass by Joe Gomez and Leeds are 0-1 up.

If only there were some reliable English centrebacks playing in top 8 sides who Southgate could take to Qatar...

........ and Fulham absolutely smash us back from 7th. into 8th. place - when was the last time we moved up a place with a 0-0 draw?

(Yes, I'm sure we probably have, but it doesn't seem the normal way of the world for us).

Look on the bright side - it could prevent us plunging down the table for the second time this evening!
