7th. to 11th. after that round of matches then, then (assuming Villa can't overturn a ten-goal goal difference).

If we manage to beat Everton would it be unreasonable to not mind a Palace win, which would drag Spurs to within our reach?

Liverpool win tonight for me. I do not want a team like a bloody Brentford above us.

I'd take a draw to keep Liverpool within reach and Brentford remaining below us. Yeah, not a Brentford win.
Whilst I admire the optimism expressed there, we're not competing with Liverpool over the course of a full season. I'm happy to let the big guns go and focus on being "best of the rest".

That game at St Mary’s already looks like a relegation 6-pointer.

Elsewhere, I'm watching the Ligue 1 game between Lille and Reims the 30-year-old English coach over in Reims seems to be getting another point for his team. Undefeated since he took over in October and they play pretty nice football.

Below Fulham and brentford now, let's hope teams turn their attentions to their players instead of bloody pestering us.

Anyone know what the view from the remaining Everton seats are like?
Being an old stadium it's normally shockingly bad but perhaps a tad better than this
