BBC commentator Chris Wise has just reported that they have been told Tom Lockyer is "alert and responsive" in the tunnel.
Well exactly but seeing as he had a previously diagnosed heart condition which needed surgery was that wise of the teams medical staff?I really don’t think now is the time for that kind of discussion. Thoughts and prayers with the man.
Asa Hartford played well over 600 games even after his heart condition was discovered. If you have a known heart condition then maybe a sport like football isn't for you? Remember Asa Hartford from my youth.
Obviously hope he recovers.
There was nobody near him when he went down.Looked like he just collapsed
There is videos on Twitter, I won't share
The correct decision. No way the game should be restarted after someone collapses.Bournemouth game abandoned
Especially as he most probably knows him personally. The moose sounds seriously upset it must be horrific to witness.
Not really, player just collapses, most of the time game gets abandoned.Pretty unusual to abandon in these circumstances?
This. Luton manager walking round applauding the fans is in tears - no chance anyone there should be asked to play on today. The correct decision. No way the game should be restarted after someone collapses.
The players won't be in the right mental state to carry on
