So what? Hate all of this ridiculous fuss about poppy's, can we not remember the soldiers if it's not embroided then?

So what? Hate all of this ridiculous fuss about poppy's, can we not remember the soldiers if it's not embroided then?

I said it was a shame, not a fuss. The clubs do this every year now with the intention of asking fans to stump up large sums of money to buy the shirts, which go to the charity, which they do admirably. My point, if I have one, is that perhaps more money would be riased if the quality of what is being offered was a little better. Dispite the fact these are charity auctions, there is still a desire by the buyer to feel they are getting a good product, in fact it is what ensures people will spend the money.

As for remembering, why do we need a poppy at all? But it does help raise in excess of £3K if you stick one on a dozen or so football shirts.
