Now I must be careful not to make any mistakes here, but is it just me or have the people of this country no care or intelligence to use the correct grammar anymore?

The sad thing is that they don't seem to realise and it seems to have got much worse in the past year.

Never really liked jam to be honest. Don't mind tomato though, but only as a soup or on pizza bases, none of that ketchup crap.
