Hi

I'm doing an Economics extended project at college and surprise surpirse, its about Falmer. I would like to know the consumer surplus for tickets at Falmer. This is the difference between what you are willing to pay and the price you actually pay.
So if you could indicate, to the nearest £ what you would be willing to pay for an average game, in an average seat, in the second year at the AMEX (the first season will have disproportionately larger demand) it would be much appreciated.
Please be honest.

Thanks,

KS

Dont worry, before you lot ask, I know you are loyal fans and probably going to be willing to pay more than the average fan. I will be taking this into account

I think the frequency of going will change results too. I might be willing to spend more if I only go to one game, which happens to be an average game. Whereas if I god 10-15 times I wouldn't be willing to pay so much, however average, or big the game is.

I thought all students were doing Media Studies and The Films of Ennico Morricone?

You are an imposter Sir, a cad and a bounder.

Depends on what division we are in...if we are in the Championship, I will assume my ST would go up from its £390 odd, so I would be prepared to pay £425 something like that, however if we dont go up this year and struggle next and we are relegated to div 4, then any increase would be met with a stony silence

I think football, on the whole, is vastly overpriced. Especially considering how much money escapes from the game in the way of crass wages/agent fees/bonuses/executives and so on.

£15 seems about right for a match ticket.

I would expect to pay roughly what i pay for an away game at a stadium of similar size.
