To be fair, I thought Beeney wasn’t the best and we got more money for him than I ever thought he was worth.

Disagree actually, l liked Mark Beeney a lot, just a shame that he wasn't able to stick around for very long.

Could we include the likes of Ashley Barnes and possibly Bissouma/Trossard - players sold because no new contracts with us were forthcoming and delaying sales would result in lower or no fees?

I think we wanted to offer Trossard a new contract didn't we? Just that he didn't want to sign it.

Besides which the point of the thread, was to pick out players who were sold cheaply to help the club out of a hole. i.e. to stop us from going under.
