Guess it could happen but wouldnt expect it until the transfer window closes. Liverpool, Arsenal and Man City are all possibly looking for a midfielder and I doubt Biss will commit to staying until the chance of a big move is (temporarily) gone.

We've heard that we are/have been negotiating with Groß, Mac Allister, March and Bissouma about new deals. Probably with others too.

How possible the deals are is uncertain.

It was a long time between the news that we were negotiating with Webster and his new contract appearing so we'll see how it goes.


I suspect an extra year+ for Bissouma might be announced once the window shuts.

Negotiating a few extensions by the summer looks far more important than anything that was going to happen in this last transfer window (and probably the next). Transfer windows are really only important for us to get prospects these days.

Not sure if it is an either/or. There is an increasing development of players running down their contracts, and I wouldn't be surprised if at least one of Mac, Tross or Maupay do so.

- I think we could survive if he left although he was class at the beginning of the season.

Bissouma
- We simply HAVE to sell if he does not sign an extension before 31/8. I don’t expect him to be be here next season.

Trossard
- He is having his best season, it would be really sad if he does not sign but again, flog him if he has not committed by 31/8.

Maupay
- I’d be really upset if he is seeing out his contract. Hopefully he’ll sign soon.

Andone
- Hopefully he is Cadiz bound this summer if his contract turns permanent.

Clarke*
- I’m really not sure he’ll play in the EPL with us. I’m not worried either way.

Mac Allister
- Having replaced Groß as our set-piece/creative, this is another player we really need to sell if he does not sign soon, he is worth a lot.

Molumby*
- Looks like West Brom will make it permanent.

Lallana*
- Great leader but Alzate has almost replaced him. We could pay young 4/5 1st team squaders on his reported salary. He may retire next year.

Veltman
- I’d love him to sign but I doubt he will. He’ll still play most games until he leaves.

Steele*
- Don’t care.

Khadra
- Left Germany for 1st team football. Might not sign an extension if he is not in the 1st team squad next season.

Yup. Most of these will be gone in 18 months. Biss definitely, Tross very very likely, still think the Maup and Mac will sign new contracts. As for the older players there is no hurry to make a decision, not like a lot of giant teams will be competing for Duffy, Veltman and Lallana.
