The presenters of these programmes are given all sorts of honours, have boats named after them, or leave their Boy Band and become scientists etc. Meanwhile the poor old camera man who actually sits around in a hide or wetsuit or somewhere equally uncomfortable for weeks on end go unheralded or recognised. Life just isn't fair.

Editing these kind of programs must take an absolute age with all the footage to go through and then to organise them into a coherent manner; it's an incredible feat on top of the dedication of capturing all the footage in the first place.
