Pc help needed

Hi Chaps

I have got to buy a new monitor and i need to know if you can connect a pc to a monitor using a hdmi cable.

I have hdmi socket in my graphics card. I have seen a cracking monitor which isnt that cheap, but its only got vga and hdmi.

Any thoughts

Yes but most monitors do not come with a hdmi cable so make sure you get one as well (very cheap online)

It depends on the monitor. Most monitors will have either a VGA port, a DVA port, an HDMI port or any combination of the three. As that monitor has an HDMI port then there should be no problems!

Quite often monitors come with a VGA cable plus a VGA/DVI adapter so you might not even need to buy an HDMI cable, having said that, HDMI will work too.
