Finally read most of his reply. My own thoughts are that if you charge a premium then people expect a decent product and service. If you cannot provide this then people expect an appropriate price. Period. Do people really want "open" 20000 word emails or just a half-decent product and service at an appropriate price?

Seems like Barber got carried away during the honeymoon period jacking up the prices way too far and has now resorted to begging emails as he sees fans alienated and his sales dropping off. It will be interesting to see the spend-per-head figures at the end of this season.
