Deja vu? The Argus say PB's contract's been extended.

"Albion chief executive Paul Barber has signed a new long-term contract with the club.

Chairman Tony Bloom agreed the new deal as Barber moved into his second decade in the role.

It will make him the third longest-serving executive in a such a role within the Premier League.

Susan Whelan has been in similar position at Leicester City since 2010.

Daniel Levy at Tottenham is way out in front in terms of longevity having been at the helm since 2001.

But his role is slightly different as executive chairman rather than CEO".

[Then a typical Argusy childish comment beneath :lolol:].

IMO he's not deserved it - the weather has been pretty bad the last few days.

Good news.

He’s made some mistakes, but by far he’s run the club very well.

One of TB’s best signings.

Ooh - Barbs has just revealed that we've signed a new, as yet unannounced, Deputy Technical Director to cover some of the Dan Ashworth skills that David Weir doesn't currently hold.

Barber just disclosed that a new assistant technical director has been appointed to work alongside Weir. Who it is exactly is yet to be announced.
