Daniel Akindayini’s early strike sent Albion on course for a place in the third round, but goals from Ben Godfrey and Sam Macvicar sent the Ryman Premier League South side through.
After a cagey opening ten minutes, Akindayini fired Albion in front when he latched onto James Tilley’s ball through the Three Bridges defence and rounded keeper Tom Thorp to slot home.
Skipper Rob Hunt was next to play Akindayini on goal, but the forward’s volley went inches wide of the post.
Ben Godfrey tested Albion keeper Harry Doherty with a clean strike from the edge of the box, but the shot-stopper made a good save.
Three Bridges had their best chance of the half when Hakeem Adelakun’s strike from the edge of the box forced an outstanding save by Doherty, who managed to collect the ball before it crossed the line.
Akindayini had another chance to double his and Albion’s tally after he was played through on goal by Ben Barclay, but Thorp was out quickly to thwart the attack.
Connor Tighe had two opportunities to get himself on the scoresheet, the first forced a fine stop by Thorp, while the second was an attempted lob which the keeper collected.
Akindayini could have added a second towards the end of the first half, but saw his shot go wide after going through one-on-one with Thorp.

The hosts had a couple of early chances after the restart to bring parity to the scoreline, as Macvicar’s angled shot went just wide, before Michael Casselman fired the ball over from a central position.Desmond Hutchinson could have extended Albion’s lead after spotting Thorp off his line, but Jamie Crellen headed his effort to safety.
Three Bridges had a chance to level from a set-piece after Crellen beat Doherty to the ball from a corner, but his header went over the bar.

Three Bridges scored what proved to be the decisive second goal with eight minutes of normal time remaining, when he took advantage of some nervy Albion defending and dispatched his shot beyond Doherty.
