The Amex was a sea of blue and white when Doncaster visited in 2011

We have a special feeling for Doncaster Rovers and they do for us too"

Albion are urging fans to turn the Amex into a sea of blue and white for the next home game against Doncaster Rovers, on Saturday 8th February – and as a result the Seagulls Store have cut prices on replica shirts and launched a brand new shirt amnesty.
The Seagulls’ home fixture has a special place in the heart of many fans – as it was the last at the Goldstone Ground in 1997 and the first at the Amex in 2011.
Supporter John Baine – who wrote the brilliant Goldstone Ghosts poem to commemorate the final game at the Goldstone – commented, “We have a special feeling for Doncaster Rovers and they do for us too.

“Both clubs went through the same sort of stuff in the mid-1990s and the relationship has taken on further significance with the two games – and of course there was Fans United II at Gillingham.
“Albion v Rovers is a special game, and everyone who remembers that last game at the Goldstone should make a special effort to come to the game at the Amex on February 8th – and to wear something blue and white!
“The shirt amnesty is also a brilliant idea. We want to see as many Albion shirts across Sussex as possible, so full marks to the club for making the effort on that score and it will be great to see the old football shirts being given a new lease of life by Albion in the Community.”
Albion fans can take advantage of the special discount on offer in both Seagulls Stores, at the Amex and in Queen’s Road, and online, with adult shirts available for £19.99 and junior sizes from £14.99.

Plus fans can make a further £5 saving with the shirt amnesty: fans can exchange their old football shirts for an extra discount on a brand-new Albion shirt.
Any team shirt can be used in exchange at the Seagulls Stores at the Amex or in Queens Road, and pick up the latest Albion shirt for just £14.99 for adults and £9.99 for junior sizes.
The old shirts collected by the club will then be donated to various charities at home and abroad, via Albion in the Community's sportswear recycling programme.*
Albion v Doncaster at the Amex on February 8th, 3pm kick off. Tickets available online, at the Amex Ticket Office or via the telephone on 08443271901.
