Laugh out loud disasterball from Russell Wilson again, loving their #3 draft pick heading Seattleā€™s way!

Mrs DCH was rightfully complaining about the rubbish Christmas Day TV. Not sure my response of ā€œthatā€™s good, I can watch the Broncos game thenā€ was quite the response she was looking foršŸ™‚
We're all hoping that Mrs DCH has relaxed a bit more now.

This will allow you the chance to get that Broncos Head Coach job application in.

I watched the first half and then decided I would rather go to bed than watch the second so recorded it to watch a a Boxing morning horror show.

No surprise Hackett has gone but I'll hold back on my application all the time we have Wilson throwing interceptions around like a mad aunt throws confetti at a wedding. Would love Wilson to stand up and take some responsibility for this - neither of them have shown great decision making all season.

Enjoy that high draft pick!

It had probably been on the cards (no pun intended) for a while now, but JJ Watt's finally announced his retirement for the end of this season.

3 time NFL Defensive Player of the Year, easily the Texans greatest ever player and all-round good guy who raised over $37 million to help Houston recover from Hurricane Harvey.

"In his first five seasons, the Wisconsin product tallied 74.5 sacks, 15 forced fumbles, an INT, and 299 tackles while earning three Defensive Player of the Year awards. His 74.5 sacks over that span of time are the second-most since 1982, behind only Hall of Famer Reggie White. Watt had 18.5 more sacks, 90 more QB hits and 51 more tackles for loss than any other player in the NFL in a four-season span from 2012-2015.

At his peak, Watt single-handedly wrecked game plans and outright controlled the game, a mystifying accomplishment for a defensive lineman. Watt's level of early-career dominance was unmatched. He even garnered MVP votes, finishing second for the award in 2014, an extreme rarity for defensive players.

Watt will retire a three-time DPOY winner with five first-team All-Pro honors, five Pro Bowls. He also led the NFL in sacks twice. He's a shoo-in for a gold jacket in five years (Watt is eligible for the Hall in 2028), as one of three players in NFL history to win DPOY three times.

Watt is the only player since 1982 with 20-plus sacks in multiple seasons -- 20.5 in 2012 and 2014. He is one of three players since 1982 with 100-plus sacks and six-plus total TDs in his career. Watt is one of two players with multiple receiving TDs and pick-six's in his career in the Super Bowl era."

The fact that he had to have his heart shocked back in rhythm after his atrial fibrillation in late September along with his young son arriving a few weeks later probably made up his mind for him. Some things are just more important.

It'll be a sad day, but also one of considerable relief for plenty of QBs who had JJ quickly bearing down on them.

For (I think) the 9th time this season, Broncos manage to throw away a chance to win a game in the last few minutes.

Better performance but Wilson yet again makes a bad decision that costs us the game.

Great for Detroit that they won and the Washington Whatevertheycallthemselvesthisyear lost...

Now need the Jets to do us a favour

Giants make the play-offs.

Daniel Jones can play QB for a season with minimal turnovers and Saquon is backā€¦..
Defence is getting healthy. Probably not as good as Philly this season, but who knowsā€¦.. Assuming we can beat either SF49ers or Minnesota we have a chanceā€¦ā€¦ unbelievable!

Daboll is a miracle workerā€¦.

Edit - itā€™s a huge assumption

Very good win against Texas, managed to sit some key starters in the second half and still won by 4 scores. No fresh injuries. On to the big one against the Titans. Winner takes the division.
Yes DFP, well done to your Jags. Dominated the game. With the history of the Titans, most Texans would want the Jags to prevail.

We've reverted back to form now and are in pole position for being on the clock in a week's time.

Whilst it would be nice to end up with more than 6 wins in the last 2 seasons, an Indy 'suck for Luck' approach might be best against the Colts.

Seattle still in the playoffs mix - just -though we need to beat the Rams and hope the Lions defeat Green Bay next week.

Would be great to get a wildcard and a Top 3 draft pick in the same season - top result for a year that many feared would be a total write-off.

Really looking forward to tonight's 12-3 Bills v 11-4 Bengals match-up. Well worth staying/getting up for.

One might imagine the Vikings season's stats will be looked at in years to come with some bemusement.

Currently 12-4 with -19 net points. šŸ™ƒ

Trying to decide whether to stay up for this, but I'm fairly pessimistic about Buffalo's chances and don't want to face my first day back at work on the back of no sleep and being disappointed with the result.... They've been winning without playing particularly well recently and the Bengals have been on fire of late. Either the Bills win and take a huge step towards securing a bye week and homefield advantage throughout the play-offs, or they will likely have to go back to Cincinatti and KC (again) if they are to make it to the Big Show.

Game temporarily suspended which is entirely appropriate at the moment.

Channel 5 doing their best in the circumstances.

Absolutely shocking.

Channel 5 have just cut their coverage.

Seeing those Bills faces and the coach who was in tears, I'm not sure this can or should go on tonight.

A local sports reporter in Cincinnati has tweeted this.

In addition to CPR, he needed an automated external defibrillator on the field.

Here's hoping the outcome is similar to that of Christian Eriksen.

The game should now be called off regardless.
