Now its all over I have bounced this thread up.

In a tournament without any obvious stars, it is hard to pick the best.

Manager/Coach:

Milovan Rajevac - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (Ghana)

Right Back: Ramos (Spain)

Midfield: Xavi (Spain), Iniesta (Spain) Swine Tiger (Germany) Biscuits (Spain)

Defence: Hinchille , Van Haria (both Algeria)

Overated posers: Robben (Holland), Gerrard (England), Capello (England), Wenger (France).

Central Defender: Kingson (Ghana)
Goalkeeper: Suarez (Uruguay)

Left back (at home) Wayne Bridge

Robben helped get his side to a WC final. He was pretty instrumental in it, to be fair. As for Wenger - not even Edna Krabappel could find a reason to pick faults with Wenger over this WC considering he was not part of it.

What about Rooney? Ronaldo? Kaka? Torres? Drogba? Henry, well - the French, generally?

I would agree with comments others have made about Perez of Uruguay. If I had to pick just one that stood out for me then I'd go with him.

A couple of others I'd like to throw into the hat, although I'm not suggesting they've been the best in the tournament, are - Ghana's young centre back Jonathon ( was really disappointed he missed the Uruguay game due to suspension), and also Giovanni Dos Santos stood out for me in Mexico's first couple of games.

Best save of the Tournament. There is not much argument over the most important: Suarez of Uruguay.

Best sieve of the tournament was Rob Green.

Most memorable moments of World Cup 2010

As they occurred to me:

Gyan missing the last minute penalty
Butterfingers Green
Suarez save
Kingson heading the ball, or rather it hitting his bonce
Forlan last minute free kick
Honda free kick
Disallowed Lampard goal
Melo pass for a goal, headed own goal and then getting sent off
Macion goal
Robben missing his glory chance aka Gordon Smith
Long free kick Germany v Uruguay
Suarez curling far corner goal for Uruguay
Long punt upfield for Klose to score
