Any ideas/good experiences of pubs in Brighton for stag do. We are a bunch of 30 something's so would ideally avoid West Street. Will be getting the train back from the Blackpool game and going straight into town. Was thinking pubs around the station and then North Laines area but not sure if they allow groups. Cheers in advance

depends how big the group is, but sounds like you've already got a plan - LOADS of pubs in North Laines, if you don't like one, move to the next one down the road!

As above but be warned. A lot of pubs in town have door staff on and will not let a large group of male pissheads go in together, especially at weekends.

Thanks was just checking out the website, called Provocateur Lounge now apparently, seems like it could be a good move. Sorting out this stag night is the only time I can sit next to my missus and get away with looking at pictures of strippers???

Definitely recommend this place as mentioned before. Took an 18 strong stag party in there a few weekends back. Got the lads to put some money together and got the stag up on the bar/stage, you can prob guess the rest. Great way to start the night off. :drink:

me a few mates go out for birthdays and highdays, usually dont get out of the North Laine. so many good pubs you dont need to cross North Street. GBK is a good pit stop, assuming you dont get some pub grub. for a stag, Comedy club might be your cup of tea? or make your way down to the Grovsenor Casino, or stopping off at some of the bar/clubs in the Lanes (East Street) for a later night.
