Really hope Norway qualify for the Euros as we deserve to see Haaland and Ødegaard line up with each other.

Mitoma is class.

try something like that next time eh? 😉

Lovely country though, civilised people too.
Don't know what you're going on about.

We were all football fans before we were Brighton fans

Odegaard, seems a decent bloke and he's an unbelievable midfielder.

Agree that was up there with some of the best performances against us at home

What a wonderful player, absolute class and an unbelievable assist.

Up there with Hazard and Coutinho as opposition Amex individual performances go.
Great player indeed and good post. Would have been good to see him against our first choice midfield.

Re the assist, felt Lamptey got caught out a little.

Just outpaced sadly TL s not quite as quick as before the injuries
As mentioned by others elsewhere this evenin*
Didn’t see it quite like that, for me Lamptey switched off for a second which put him 2-3 yards behind, he caught up about a yard, but not enough.

Definitely agree though he has lost a little bit of pace.

You do not need to run the fastest to be in the right place at the right time.

Exactly. Caicedo and Mac wouldn't have allowed him the time and space he had tonight.
See above. We still rave about Coutinho and Hazard against a much weaker Albion side.

You can only play against what you face and against a decent Premier League team today, he was brilliant. I don’t think Gross or Gilmour were bad today but were outclassed by a far superior player, credit where where credit’s due.

A great performance, certainly, but spoiled somewhat for me by his persuading Anthony Taylor to book Solly March. You can clearly see him moaning at Taylor and pointing to where he showed yellow cards to Arsenal players, at which point the card comes out. Not that it wasn't the correct decision, but he wasn't reaching for his pocket until Odegaard came up and started mouthing off.

Nah, Brighton is in the blood, I wish I could walk away from football but nearly 50 years supporting MY team stops me. I can still appreciate a good player for other teams, but when they play BHA they are the enemy. Yeah, maybe a dinosaur, but it’s what sets football apart from most other sports, real passion.

That said, the game is changing, thankfully I will have known the best years of it being an alternative religion.
