anyone know of any country pub gems within a 5 or 10 mile radius of Gatwick that will be serving a top notch delish pub lunch on a frosty december Monday?

The Lamb Inn at Rusper is a lovely pub. Big fires etc etc. Food is good but not haute cuisine. Easy to get to - http://thelambinn.org/

If you like CAMRA Rated pubs one of their four Regional Champions is just down the road - not so easy to find from personal experience, no doubt if you have satnav you will be OK but it isn't actually in Rusper!

This is indeed very good. Mostly local sourced food and great menu !!
