Be sensible, even the mighty crocs can't compete with the sheer fright involved with watching football at the Madejski:)

So i wont be RUN out of Preston park by an over weight man in face paint, a wig and bearing a novelty horn?

Player profiles you will get....

I will release them at the same time as my FLAIR RULES document, detailing exactly what is expected of a Croc in the flair department.

:lolol: :lolol:

guess what i have just found - from the glory days of ovyfc - yes, it is mccarthy, witham and stewarts plahyer profiles. these may obviously be somewhat out of date being 3 years old, but here they are anyway:

1. Scott McCarthy
Cuckfield Hospital was where a story began. Ex-Fulham right winger Tom McCarthy and his wife Alison gave birth to a young Scott James – the boy who was to turn goalkeeping on its head. At the tender age of 17, McCarty made his debut for Crawley Town. After a season, he moved to Rotherham United, where he made the number one jersey his own. Playing in a side containing a young Shaun Goater, he blossomed. He qualified to play for Ireland through his grandparents, and Under 21 honours soon followed. In 1994-95 the youngster moved to the Premiership with Bolton Wanderers. He enjoyed success here, and was voted PFA Young Player of the Year despite his side’s relegation. He remained in the Premiership with a move to Southampton, where he earnt 5 Irish Caps with his performances for the Saints. The big boys had noticed his form as well, and at the end of 1995-96, he looked set to seal a dream move to Arsenal for £9.5m. However, it fell through when McCarthy contracted leprosy, meaning he failed his medical. With his world in shatters, he lost his place in both the Saints and Irish goals. Desperate for a new start, he moved to AS Monaco in France. Here he played alongside Tom Stewart, and McCarthy was like a born again keeper. They were the inspiration for the side reaching the Champions League Semi-Final, and McCarthy kept Manchester United at bay along the way with the game of his life. When Stewart left, McCarthy, and the teams form dipped, and by the start of 1998-99 he had sealed a dream move to Italy and Juventus for £3.4m. He started the season as Number One, keeping Gianluigi Buffon out of the side, but after injuring his foot in a freak cooking accident, lost his place and never got back in. He moved to Sampdoria in 1999-2000, but never settled after gaining food poisoning from an undercooked pizza. By 2000-20001 he was back in England, playing in Division One with Preston North End. A disagreement with David Moyes saw him leave in December, and he helped Mark McGhee’s Milwall to the Division 2 title, but decided against signing permanently for the Lions. 2001-2002 saw him have spells at a number of Division 2 and 3 sides on short term contracts, and in 2002-2003 he helped Aldershot to promotion to the Conference. In 2003-2004, former Monaco team mate Tom Stewart came knocking, with a place for him at Old Varndenians, and with the opportunity to team up with Stewart again, McCarthy signed for a seasons spell at the Crocs Lair
Previous Clubs:- Crawley Town, Rotherham United, Bolton Wanderers, Southampton, AS Monaco, Juventus, Sampdoria, Preston North End, Milwall, Wycombe Wanderers, Flint Town, Barry Town, Total Network Solutions, Wrexham, Chester City, Dagenham and Redbridge, Hayes, Aldershot Town, OVY

10. Tom Witham
It all started at Alfreton, where a young explosive striker going by the name of Tom Witham, burst onto the scenes with a hat-trick in the clubs famous anglo-saxon cup win. This prompted Shalke 04, one of Germany's top sides to buy the player for £14m. This was only the beginning, he finished bundesliga top scorer in his 1st season, with a record 67 goals, which propelled the club into the big time. He had made it, and when Borussia Dortmund came knocking with a £98m bid, Shalke could not resist, and neither could Witham. He lifted the champions league final and assisted Karl-Heninz Riedle's winning goal. Unfortunately, this was a high point in Germany, after the player had punched a Werder Bremen fan, resulting in a 9 month ban, in which he spent most of his time womanising and taking grade-A drugs. Vasco da Gama offered him a lifeline, and this was where he earned all 19 of his England caps, in which he scored 32 goals. A successful career in Brazil was ended when he slepped with Mario Zagallo's wife, and prompted a riot in a match against Flamengo when he revealed a shirt saying "Mary wasn't a virgin when i'd finished with her". He was then exported and Racing Club de Lens came knocking. A successful time at Lens pinaccled in the clubs 1st ever league win. Witham formed a deadly partnership with the rookie El-Hadji Diouf, this was ended, however, when Witham offered Jacques Santini cocaine, and Santini reported the incident to the police.
He then returned to his native England, and with Division 1 side Oxford, where he linked up with current OVY stars, Stewart, Joe Cutting and Gareth Jones. Nine years at the Manor Ground(and briefly the Kassam Stadium) saw the striker score 654 goals, and forming a prolific partnership with Dean Windass, along youngster Tom Stewart. When OVY came knocking on his door, however, he had little choice, he duely signed on a free transfer, leading to the Oxford manager's sacking and execution.
Previous Clubs: Alfreton Town, Shalke 04, Borussia Dortmund, Vasco da Gama, RC Lens, Oxford United, OVY

12. Tom Stewart
Born to parents Phil and Justine, a young midfielder was about to change the football world. A product of the Telford United youth academy, the midfielder was instrumental in the clubs FA Vase win, where he scored 5 goals in an 8-0 win over Aldershot. He caught the eye of table-toppers Arsenal, who paid £500k for the then 18 year old midfielder. Sadly, he made just one appearance, setting up a Glen Helder goal in a 2-1 win over Oldham. Manager Bruce Rioch, however, did not rate the midfielder highly, and released him.
He was then signed by Oxford United, where he played for England Under-21's, and, after interest from several Spanish sides, he joined AS Monaco. Here he played along side Thierry Henry, and current crocs custodian Scott McCarthy. Stewart and McCarthy were widely considered as the best two young players on the planet at the time, and were being chased by all the worlds top teams. Here he was in the great side that reached the Champions League semi-final, beating Manchester United along the way, it was in the United game, where he recieved a £500k ban for prompting a mass riot in which 987 United fans died. It was after this game that Stewart and McCarthy were caught up in a media scandal, as they were pictured in a sex-romp with 17 playboy models. This was not all of it, the duo were also pictured with a tonne of cocaine in the boot of Stewarts car. Scared that he was ruining their prodigé, Monaco decided to offload Stewart, and he was sold to Lecce for £2.1m It was here that he met fellow OVY star Gareth Jones. And Stewart recieved a call up for the England squad, where he won 8 caps. This raised interest back home, and Sunderland paid a club record £8m to bring the star player to the club. An injury ridden spell at the Stadium of Light resulted in the club releasing Stewart. After this, he spent short spells at several lower league clubs, and a few abroad, before joining OVY.

Previous Clubs:- Telford United, Arsenal, Oxford, AS Monaco, Lecce, Sunderland, Oxford(loan), Woking, Notts County, Barnet(loan), Young Boys Berne, Boavista, Osasuna, Malaga, Numancia, Southend, Bronby, KR Reykjavik, Malmo, Aberdeen, Airdrie, Rhyl, Bohemians, Dalian Shide, Dallas Burn, Perth Glory, Kingz FC, Orlando Pirates, Brentford, OVY
