Surely if the hard shoulder is wide enough for lorries to pull over then you could get the car right over to the left and leave plenty of room. However, if you are concerned, best to wait. presumably the recovery will help change it and charge the earth for the pleasure but provided they don't take you back to a depot in Brighton then you should still make it. Good luck.

Last time this happened to me (front offsite) the Police arrived and put on their hazards while they helped me change it. Great service.

The fact that you drive a car and have no idea how to change a wheel is appalling IMHO...... Genuinely disgusted at that TBH... Get out of your bed tomorrow and learn how to do it for any possible future problems!!!
