It is a cool gesture though you are right, funny how 'smaller' clubs like us do that sort of thing. and the 'udders defender buying a round to thank their supporters, v cool. Wouldnt happen at a 'big' club

I don’t want to sound ungrateful but frankly the Club has royally screwed up. EVERYONE knows Geordies always have 2 pints on the go at same time. We’ll be a laughing stock and cement the soft southern stereotype. Barber really needs to make it 2 vouchers per fan or lose ALL credibility. And FFS, nobody wear a coat.

The club did this for the away fixture to Norwich at end of last season only a few months ago and there was free coach travel as well.
