Given that not one of the people inside the facility (as shown on the cutaways from the planning application) are wearing colours, I suspect that’s exactly what it is.
A technical point, an insufficient number of loo’s on the first floor. The liquids input-output for 325 punters might require more than 6 wc’s.

Now they have given planning permission for student flats , I hope the Albion resubmit their plans for the hotel to complement the preposed Fans zone
They’re for the seats, there’s other images showing people sitting in them
Check the Bennett’s Field thread. The student flats are in Lewes council not B&H and were turned down but got through on appeal to the government planning inspectorate.

But as we contribute so much to do local economy, I can’t really see the council turning it down again , especially as they are giving the club the Freedom of the City
I can’t think of an equitable reason why planning would be refused.
No added burden to transport, height in keeping with the stadium at that point, no impact on the visual amenity of residents, architecturally it looks good.
Indeed, just pointing out it’s not as simple as “student flats got approved so a hotel will”. However I think the club learnt a lot from the hotel bid and any future one they put in will be likely to be successful.

I think it could add to the atmosphere if it was marketed to those who fancy a corporate experience in a more relaxed setting. Tickets could be sold on a match by match basis and marketed to stag do's, birthdays, company beanos ect. If it was it was set up like pub, with a band, pool tables, table tennis ect I imagine it would be incredibly popular as a one off experience particularly if you could trade your usual seat in for a discount.
There was about 50 AEK fans in the south stand shelf that made a right racket.
