No, the new kit sponsor will be announced when the shirts go on sale.

Not before.

And the shirts are currently being manufactured and printed.

I can't think of any reason why they can't get the kit out much earlier and benefit from more pre season sales. There is no excuse for not having the sponsors lined up quicker or for not having the shirts produced earlier, it's not like they don't know that the season finishes in late April/early May every year, unless of course they need to get all the season ticket money in 1st because the finances are in such a parlous state that they can't pay for the shirt making earlier.

Nothing is wrong with getting them out early. If it is Monday, how much earlier would you want it to be than six weeks before the seasons starts?

Monday would be great and plenty early enough, let's hope Mendoza is more reliable than most of the rumours in this place and that the club have got it right this year.

26 July is two weeks before the season starts and is NOT "well before the season starts" , well before is at least a month imo
