What the **** are people saying it's the palace CPFC song tune? It's a tune that's been used by lots of clubs for years - palace only recently singing that song I believe. Some yrs ago it was man uniteds viva Ronaldo song - first time I'd heard the tune!

I don't know the original tune but the popular football chant works best with 4 doesn't it? (e.g. "Watford FC" and "Reading FC"...)

That said, I'm not sure what the best 4 syllable line 3 is for the SBTS version in any case...

Yes, you are right - that is a different tune to the 4 syllable "1-2-F-C" chants

I don't like these Eurochants where the emphasis seems to be "look at us, aren't we great at singing and aren't we the best fans because we keep droning on for ages"
