Far better to get a proper midfielder from a nation that can play the game.

Don't Man City have an issue with the lack of home grown players in their squad? That may be why they would go for Phillips? And a lot cheaper than Rice.

Never been in the Southgate out camp but this is unacceptable. People might say well it’s only the nations league but if we get relegated from group A then we lose the benefits of meaningful games against top teams.

This team selection is dreadful, pick the best team, they all have weeks of holiday literally from tomorrow morning.
