Having had a prang in the company vehicle which is covered by their insurance. Legally am I obliged to tell my own insurance company of the accident,I fear having my premium increased or should I keep quiet. Has any one had a similar experience and what was the outcome?

Yes you have to notify them.

I'm assuming that you name will be on the claim form ?
In the case of company insurance it would get cross referenced.
But only if you made a claim on you own insurance at a later date. If found, which i guess it would as all insurance share this information they would use this a reason not to pay out on the claim as you provided false information when obtaining your insurance.
Ie not telling about the previous accident.
