The ref should be stood down. Shocking to let that game continue to the point they were playing in those conditions.

All really funny until someone gets their leg broken. The run / stop of the ball is totally random, making it literally impossible to safely time any tackles.

(Yes I am fun at parties)

This is not what it seems, the game was not played on a shallow swimming pool as it looks in the video. The match was all but over when the monsoon type rain hit, it was literally like it for the last few mins of the game.

Had this been the conditions at the half way point I am sure the game would have been stopped, but had Brighton be 3-2 up against city with a couple mins left and the heavens opened would you have been wanting the game stopped?

I think I recall a game v Luton at the Goldstone, they started the match but abandoned before HT it due to the waterlogging, was the game rearranged for a daytime midweek KO?
