Some awkward moments for Cameron in the Paxman session but I think he came through relatively unscathed. The audience Q&A will be a calk walk for him as he will just talk and talk and run the clock down. Unless he gets a real curve ball that stumps him I think it is job done and in the clubhouse for Cameron for tonight's TV appearance.

7 / 10. Solid if unspectacular.

Christ, did Cameron just suggest handing over control of Government buildings to one private company as an efficiency saving? That doesn't sound like a good idea at all given the sheer numbers of specialisms required to maintain defence estates etc, and no doubt the company that is given control will be a major corporate donor to the Tories.

Also, Miliband is going to be destroyed. He is no statesman.

Depends on Paxo, and will the audience give him an easier time because he is not in power.
How many times will he say "The truth is"........

Ed's main issue is that he is not a natural public speaker, regardless of his other qualities. He over rehearses and it sounds like it plus it means he lacks the mental dexterity to debate the issue as it evolves. Consequently he ends up sounding like a Dalek.

Cameron pissed the audience Q&A. The facilitator was crap and didn't shut him up, letting him take the ball into the corner and run the clock down with every question. I'm sure she'll get a pasting in the press for her ineptitude.

If I was in Cameron's team I'd give him 8 /10 for that, up from my earlier 7 /10. Masterclass in damage limitation.

Eds main issue is that he's a pompous, soft left, ****. Cameron's main issue is that he's a pompous soft right, ****. What a choice facing the electorate!!

I don't think I can listen to much more of this idiot.
He does not want to load debt onto children and grandchildren, he said that 5 years ago.
No way will the cuts be the same as before they will be much deeper so there's another lie.

not having a single point of managment of public owned estate sounds a worse idea. it means for one thing they probably dont really know what they have, in what use, where duplication of function is occuring between departments etc. related point was made this week by Lord Adonis that theres no audit of council estate, there's not a firm figure on how many there are. thats daft. im not for centralisation or embiggening the state, but this is the sort of thing a small organisation should exist to audit and enable efficiencies.

I'm no fan of Ed but it seems to m he is getting a rougher ride here than Cameron from both the audience and the facilitator
