Here we go, the January madness. A lot of it will be a load of Bolanos. #bhafc

Presumably requires this context.

The Bolonos link is genuine, as is the amount of cash on the table.

Whether that translates into him coming here is another matter, but for Naylor to dismiss it as a nonsense rumour is a bit silly.

But has he dismissed it or is it a clever play on words i.e lots of news to follow on Bolanos?

He hasn't dismissed it at nonsense. His tweet can be interpretted as Bolanos being the major transfer issue this window.

We really can't have the cash for that, has to be one or the other. FFP!

How would it work if the payments were staggered? Aren't quite a few deals done like that these days? It used to be the get around on FM

Or...we are selling Chris O'Grady for £25mill

Perhaps it can work within FFP...

Spread the fee over 4 or 5 year contracts, bring in a bit selling a player or 2 who would command some sort of decent fee like Dunk or JFC, or even Ince..

It's just a joke using the name to sound like a word for a lot of rubbish will be talked in the days ahead. I wouldn't read any more into it than that.

Not necessarily a FFP issue as the transfer fee is amortised over contract period so if they cost £16m total and were each offered 4 year contracts, the FFP cost would be £4m. FFP is £13m this season, but we don't know the 2015 comparator, somewhere south of the £10m loss depending on how much of the loss is allowable expense for youth development etc.

Also possibility of selling Dunk?

I don't think it would have a major impact on FFP if we got both of them. They will be purchased in the hope that we get promoted, and become awash with Sky money, if not, I imagine one or both would be sold on, hopefully for a profit, or at least our money back

The bugger would be of course if our injury jinx would be to strike one or both of them
