Nice to see a foreign coach with a bit of passion and personality. Makes a real change. Seems to be getting the best out of Spurs. By rights, we should get mullered when we go there, but you never know.

Hopefully he plays Mark Yeates :jester:

But seriously we defend better than Southampton did yesterday.

He rates Mark Yates. He mentioned him in a tv interview recently.

To be fair, Jol talks so much I think it's only a matter of time, and the law of averages, that he mentions me in front of a journalist's microphone some time soon...
Hugely entertaining, though - both on and off the pitch, at the moment... Yeates has been on the bench a couple of times lately, but then, he has been over the past 18 months (and also just missed out, most notoriously the last game of the 2002-2003 season when he was seen crying down the phone after Glenn told him he'd be making his debut, the boy invited his family over from Ireland and then... er, failed to make the bench... D'oh!)
Can't see any of the KKK giving way for him at the moment - Kanoute's game relies so much on confidence, we need to keep playing him; Keane needs to keep up his input to avoid becoming the permanent third choice... or make yet another move; and Defoe, well, he's Jermain Defoe, innit?
Should be a good open game, am enjoying Spurs' current run of form but always fear a shocking slump's around the corner (and usually around this time of year, faced with theoretically-very-winnable games against the likes of Norwich, Palace and, er, your good selves...)
