You know that bit of paper/foil at the top of your imitation butter spread.
What do you do with it,do you keep it on your spread till the tub is empty or throw in the bin when you first open the pot.
Just what is the marge blanket for?

Good thread.

I always discard the MB at the earliest opportunity and find it frankly ridiculous when Mrs G can start a new tub and carefully keep it in place... why on earth would you do that? - it obviously is just going to get in the way and stop you scraping evenly across the surface area (leading to all sorts of problems...)

Chuck it. Useless irritating piece of foil. I have often wondered why it is there. The only thing I can think of is as a safety precaution against and turgid shelf packers from sticking their cocks in the flora lite.
