Manchester United were dreadful tonight, but credit to Sevilla. I thought they pressed superbly and Acuna at left back was absolutely phenomenal.

Shaw definitely back too soon there, also Rashford didn’t look comfortable after winning that corner. Stretching out a couple of times after that.
Rashford look like he hurt his arm in that challenge and was holding the upper arm as he walked off.

I love Harry Maguire.

Mel Brooks is 96 years old and unlikely to produce any new classic comedy.

But we still have Harry.
Southgate's first choice centre back because "he knows what he will get from him" :wozza:

Early goal for us on Sunday and their fans could turn after that sort of performance

This is Clinton Morrison’s view:

“You still go to this game full of confidence and they were miles off it today. If they go to Brighton at the weekend like this then Brighton will do worse than Sevilla have done tonight.” BBC

You’re united and you’ve just played that game tonight. Your confidence is shot to bits.
You’re an Albion player and you’ve just watched the United game. Your belief is through the roof.
And then you remember it’s football and the game before means diddly.

Only now seen the score; very funny and I'd be delighted if it wasn't for the fact that we're now the ones having to face the Europa League overlords with no objective left in their league and all of their focus on Europe.

United will still be dangerous on Sunday despite injuries because they'll feel they have to show a proud reaction to this elimination and it's also their only chance left at winning something notable this season. Interesting to see 4 Serie A teams among the semifinals of CL and EL (our super dominant league leaders not being among them) and only one Premier League team (City.)
