I'm not even for one minute saying we are signing an injured player- we obviously wouldn't do that. But the reason he has played so little over the last two seasons IS as much about his injuries as the quality of his teammates (remember he started the season in the team, then got injured) and to say he will be 'ever present' is total guess work given his history. Obviously, I hope he remains fit.
Lallana and Welbeck say hi!

(I love them both, by the way, but it's fair to say they always have been, and remain, quite fragile).

Was listening to Albion Unlimited last night , they were talking to a Brighton fan who is also an expert on German football and suggested that Dahoud has been injured a lot over the last couple of years , and at best would be a squad player

You seem to be suggesting that the returning Reda Khadra won't make the grade.
Given that Albion allowed an obligation for Sheffield United to buy him to be included in the loan deal with the Blades (if certain conditions were met), it would seem that it is Albion that are suggesting he won't make the grade.

We need to stop with this myth that Danny Welbeck is still injury prone. He missed 6 games in the season that has just finished. He was involved in 31 of the 32 games he made the squad for (the final day against Villa is the only game he made the squad but didn't get any playing time). The previous season he made all 22 squads once he returned from injury/surgery and again played in 21 of those 22 games (he was an unused sub away to Everton).

He's missed 6 of the last 60 PL squads. That isn't the record of someone who is quite fragile.

Shhhh, we have enough players being sniffed around.

Nobody is sniffing around Welbz, but he's useful for us and we need to pad the squad with players that other clubs don't want to come along and poach!
Yes no one is sniffing around Welbeck at the moment but this is because they all think he is made of raw spaghetti. Once the truth is out there and his contract is up for renewal we could face competition. Maybe not from the big six but maybe one of the muppet run clubs with too much money to burn like Everton.

We can rebuild sick notes, Lallana is a work in progress but Welbeck is done
