Brighton have signed former Arsenal goalkeeper Lydia Williams from Paris St-Germain until the end of the 2023-24 season.

Did we need another keeper though? Must be a fairly short term fix for a problem we didn’t have, as she’s quite “experienced” / old.

Timing is poor for Megan, too. The day after she has a clean sheet and saves all three penalties faced in a shootout! I hope she doesn’t lose her starting place and actually benefits from having the experience in training to push her on further.
