I like to think I am a Tory socialist believe in business and look after workers and I hope I am a charitable person. I think politics is far more confusing now.
I agree with 75 % of Tory policies and 25% of ofther parties. We should help everyone to improve their standard of living and those that struggle through no fault of there own we should help them but those that abuse the system should be Delt with.
We need to build the northern power house rather than just talk about it then the pepole of the north may then not be so disinfracised with the South East. All I know is that many pepole in this world would love to have our democarcy and freedom.
Roll on the start of the season.

I don't know whether I'm right wing or left wing, but I do know that Eastern European women are, in my experience at least, far more attractive than British women and I'm very worried about the future.

Right wingers get on with stuff, work hard and enjoy the fruits of their efforts

Left wingers whinge, moan and want everything handed to them on a plate

This is a common view, along with right wing being educated and subsequently people who own their own homes.

Left wing are those who remind us of how unfair life is and wait around for hand outs to even the playing field

But my Father worked all his life, owns his own home, has a degree, thinks life is quite good and considers himself left-wing though. He's over 70 and voted 'remain' as well. He briefly served in the armed forces too, so some people could consider him patriotic, but I'm not an expert.

I am very very rightwing. Its an apex predator thing that most of you bedwetting lefties wouldn't understand, well not until the very end.

You must be the only "Apex predator" that sits around on his own on a Saturday night, getting pissed on his own and posting twaddle on an Internet forum.

Neither left nor right, but pragmatic.

erm, its quintessentially right wing economics.

i think this just shows the old notions of left-right (and class) have been diluted and often dont hold true.

I know loads of left-wing people - more left wing than me - who work extremely hard to make life better for the common good, and for the benefit of those who are less capable of doing so than themselves.

And that "working hard" could mean anything from challenging the conditions that condemn so many people to a more difficult life to rolling their sleeves up to do something practical about it.

I regard myself as left wing, but if you gave me absolute power, I'd abuse it in no time. That said, I'd make the trains run on time...

Isn't that something of a crass generalisation?

Or are you equating right-wing to racist bigotry....... Which is NOT what I am trying to imply.

Speaking as an educated home owner, I've always found that you can't generalise. But the most intelligent people I know have centre-left views.

I find the people who have relatively centre left wing views are far more interesting and accomplished than right wingers. Right wingers generally obsess about right wing topics: People on benefits, Tory policy, scroungers, immigration etc. They rarely have any answers to these "issues" and are prone to exaggeration and narrow mindedness and rarely consider other people's opinions. Their life experience tends to be narrow and they are generally poorly travelled outside of any military experience they have had.

Left leaning people tend to be better educated, have a wider range of topics and are able to discuss possible solutions to "issues". They don't tend to "bang on" about their politics, instead preferring to talk about and discuss common ground they may have with someone else. They tend to have more interesting hobbies, past times and are happy to engage in and learn new skills and have new experiences. Right wingers tend to limit their interests to Sport, 80's music, fishing and drinking.

Thinks that's covered most things. Cheers.

Left wingers are quicker to use violence against others when they don't agree with someone elses views.

In the western world they have become the biggest political thugs going around. So being "better educated" really doesn't amount to much does it.

I also find in my experience that quite a few right-wingers also like to mention 'political correctness gone mad' at things they don't like.

If something happens they don't like it is proof positive of a left wing take over and that Sharia law is only one suicide bomber away.

WOW............Very sweeping and before I respond I have to agree with you on much of what you say, since I have much of the same politics as yourself I think but when you make such statements I think you can't be so extreme and you need to be more balanced in your argument

1. Right wingers travel is not as restricted as you suggest. They often Holiday in Southern Spain as well

2. I agree that Left wing people will have had a tendency to have studied other topics outwith their comfort zone

3. I do think right wing people do have solutions and they are often decent solutions but they often fail to see the detrimental knock on affects of their suggested solutions

4. I don't think it necessarily fits that left wing people are better educated. In fact I think the opposite is true; however, there are a mass of right wing minded mass of people who are swayed easily by the right leaning media

The detriment of left wing people are that they often reject change out of hand and are more likely to object to planning permission on things which could be beneficial to the masses of people just to save a few trees and birds

Once again I endorse a lot of your original post but I just wanted to try and make it a bit more balanced as it came across as too much ''Vladimir Illyatch Ullianov'' probably wrong spelling
