Apart from his clearly bad attitude you have to consider that he has slipped down the league and you have to ask why. He doesn't seem to be the player he was here and that could very well be because of outside issues or habits.

I wouldn't want him back as what he was four seasons ago is clearly not what he is now.

9 yes votes?

The man was kicked out of Albion, Swansea, MK Dons and now Wycombe for being a twat. Think about it...

and don't forget his successful loans at Sheffield Wednesday and QPR where he was regarded as a "gobby little shite who could pick a fight in a phonebox"

Huddersfield?

Absolutely no way. How the little s**t has the nerve to take money of clubs under the pretence that he is a "professional" football player I'll never know. He had one great season in the promotion year and has done diddly squat since, a complete has-been. He's blown his career and I think he'll struggle to get another decent team and quite frankly I don't care if he doesn't.

Anyone saying no is quite clearly cutting their nose to spite their face

So we should welcome back a little cunt who publicly wished for The Albion to be relegated?

Let the little fucker disappear into non-league football asap.

Knight has scored 25 goals since he left us
Robinson 10 in that time
Gatting 4
Hart 2

Gargan and Dixon I will leave out as they havent had a chance and havent scored for us yet.
Robinson has scored more than 10 in that time, he scored 12 goals in the league (I'm guessing since it's him cup goals don't count) in the last two seasons. Which is actually more than Knight, and in a higher league.

Thats not true though, Robinson has only scored 12 league goals in his career. Last season he scored four and the year before 6. The other two I believe came in our first Championship season when Knight was still here.

EDIT: One was in our first Championship season and one was the second when Knight was still here.

Thing is, he WILL score goals at this level. And it's hard to see past that, lairy attitude or not...

But he hasn't for five years since leaving us.

And now he can't even hack it for Wycombe reserves........

I agree he is a horrible little sh*t but he can score goals at this level. Why not bring him back on a week-by-week contract so that as soon as he becomes disruptive or gets a strop he can be got rid of without it costing a lot of cash.

I didn't check the stats, I thought he scored 6 last season. But 10 would still put him on a par with Knight, at a higher level, and as winger who was in and out of the team (last season).

I can't believe we are even having this discussion. It's not like Wycombe got rid of Knight solely because he was a pain in the arse; he was a pain in the arse because he wasn't playing. He wasn't good enough to play for Wycombe. And yet people think he's still capable of banging in the goals in this league? Where's the logic in that?

He patent current lack of ability, combined with his odious nature, make this a completely ridiculous question.

I'm afraid he's a complete cock, so no, I wouldn't want him back.

Plus I doubt he'd want to play for Albion. Not "all 6,000 of them" - he's far too big for our club, he made that clear.

Not cut out to be a professional footballer? What scoring something like 26 goals for us in one season?

how many from open play? how many in the first half of the season before he got found out and marked out of the game?

fact is he went sour when asked to play anywhere other than upfront. he isnt going to be first chioce so wont like it one bit. we need a professional who will be willing to sit out a month biding his time, working hard in training to force MA to look at them even if Forster/Murray are fit. not a petulant wannabe who will flounce.

He was not scoring goals in the division below us, has had NINE clubs already and been nothing but trouble at every one of them. He showed no respect towards The Albion or its fans when he left.

He won't be in football much longer-nobody can work with him.
