Pablo Gravellone ( not sure who he is ) reckons the deal to sell Calleri still hasn't been signed and he is still a Boca player for now...

These aren't the players you're looking for.

When a club is in negotiations to purchase a player, it isn't like popping into Sainsburys for a loaf of bread.

It is more akin to buying a house. Negotiations take an age, and the time difference only exacerbates the already long winded process.

We have cleared the first hurdle by agreeing a fee with Boca, now the player needs to be convinced. Obviously we were never his ideal choice, but so what, at the end of the day his job is that of a footballer. As with any job, it may not be the ideal location or company, but if it pays well enough it becomes more agreeable.

So now we wait, because he is doing what any of us would do, bidding his time to see if a better offer comes along or if he can negotiate a better salary from us to sweeten the deal and compensate for the fact that we aren't Inter Milan.

Have we? We are the second option if they are unable to sell to the second investment group, which sounds like it's going through at the minute.

Thought this thread had cooled off. Suppose it's going to remain on first two pages untill someone buys him or transfer window closes.

This is why so many deals occur on transfer deadline day, players keep flashing their knickers to see if they get a better offer. It was always thus.

Nothing is signed, and it seems there is a lot of 'negotiation via twitter leaks' going on, coupled with poor google/bing translation.
