We can't have been only looking at him - just hope plan B is ready to sign immediately. We need players at the start of the window.

He's either already signed or isn't coming IMO. I cannot see us in negotiations against Inter and Bolonga, Wages alone would surely rule that out if there is any truth in this it's already done and has been for some time...

That's that then. To say they've paid $12mil then immediately loaned him out is somewhat frustrating, though, especially as it sounds as though we were close to sealing a deal.

We all spent time on this thread however let's hope TB and PB have some nice surprises for us in the new year and don't mean a new pie.:fishing::thumbsup:

Am I the only one that is concerned about spending that sort of money on a player untried in Europe let alone England ? What effect will this have on FFP if he is a flop ? Are there no 'tried and trusted' players that could be tempted with a pot of 10-12 million to spend on transfer/wages ?

If this signing comes off but we fail to make promotion, will we be doomed (to stay in the Championship or worse) for ever ? :nono:
Kind of agree if we are spending £10m might as well had a punt for Andre Grey In the summer.
