Rightio, so WaveFront records is an upstart record label trying to get going in Brighton with some serious music and the first WaveFront EP has been released with Joanna Joy!

Jo is an 18 year old from Seaford actually, although she spends quite a bit of time in Brighton. Her album is about 4 quid with the option to preview it - she is genuinely this talented too. If you like it enough to buy it'd be very much appreciated since Jo and the label are relying on viral campaigning and word of mouth to spread in these early days.

If you've got a smart phone here is a QR Code http://qrcode.kaywa.com/img.php?s=8&d=http://joannajoy.bandcamp.com/album/bottles

And here is a link if you don't have a smart phone: Bottles | Joanna Joy

It'll have an iTunes release soon enough, along with literally every online store going including Napstar (!).

Give it a listen.

Rather enjoyed it actually...so its mine now. Rather spend a few quid on a local label and local singer than money to amazon for a Radio 1 promoted head mash pop convey belt sh!t

Thank you!
Both the producer/label founder and the artist are friends of mine so our group has bought the Ep but to have people we don't really know doing it means so much more!

I've come back home.
Following on from Brigtonseagulls above Hurricane is probably my favourite as i like the acoustic nature of it. Her voice on Bottles is very good. The speaky bit on letting go isn't up my street but hey.

So whats the plan for her then?
