I think Super Bock may be more readily available than having to seek out a Portugese bar/restaurant. In my office we have a drinks trolley which comes round on a Friday afternoon and Super Bock is a new addition - I'll see where they get it from - probably Odd Bins across the road in the Strand.

Anyway nice drop, allthough a bit stronger than the session bitters I generally go for.

Maybe Uncle Buck thinks it is named after him? And Uncle, do tread carefully in South Norwood on Saturday - remember there may be shotguns under the pool table.

I remember the pub well, hence we are starting there, rather than doing it as the 5 or 6 th pub.

Unfortunalely not.

Other highlights from previous trips (visiting every pub in London called the Albion in one day) include;

- the Albion pub in Woolwhich, complete with Albion 'fan' with rather a lot of Everton tatoos!!??, plus girl behind the bar who wasn't too keen on us leaving (we were the only drinkers)

- antics on the Woolwhich ferry

- getting lost in New Cross

- finding an Albion fish bar in Rotherhithe

- very dodgy boozer (now defuct) somewhere near Upton Park

How did we survive unscathed?
