former Albion right-back Peter Smith :US:

How much of an influence do you reckon he's had on Calderon's decision making?

And what would you all think will happen if the Saints deal doesn't go ahead?

I think Smith might have burnt his bridges with the club here. He played in the legends match at Withdean last season and is known to have a good relationship with Brighton. Presumably it is this relationship which bought him here in the first place. And it is also presumably his relationship with Dean Wilkins that has taken the player to Southampton.

I think he has sacrificed his standing with Brighton for the sake of a short-term gain.

They found time to mention Barry Town for Moralee and not us. Thank god for that.

I assume Max Ferdinand is from the Les and Rio family.

I wouldnt trust any of those chancers with my career. I wonder how much young players are sucked into the feeling of self-importance by having an agent?

How dumb would it be to not try and sign a quality player just because he is with a certain agency. Just means you need to be a bit cute when it comes to negotiations.

And Smith finally gets his revenge for those cringeworthy "Marley, Marley" chants from the North Stand. It's like an average white bloke playing in front of an all black crowd and them chanting "Bowie, Bowie."

My favourite extract from the site:

Olly specialises in emerging talent identification and works closely with our younger players. He has passed a full CRB check, and has qualifications in child protection - safeguarding children, age appropriate coaching, first-aid for sport, and player & match analysis via the English Football Association.

As if passing a CRB check is particularly impressive. HA!
