Yeh, i'd go for the rugby rule of physio on the pitch to treat injuries.

It's far from the perfect solution, but something has to be done.

Faking a head injury should carry a suspension of 6 months or something

It is very annoying indeed.

Unfortunately any team not doing it will have a big disadvantage so some kind of rule change is probably the only way to deal with the issue.

Feigning a head injury would stop overnight if we had the same rule as the egg chasing and any player suffering or claiming to suffer a head injury had to leave the pitch for an independent assessment for concussion.

Sub allowed during the assessment but hopefully the disruption would reduce this particular type of cheating.

It would be so simple to introduce and implement. If the clubs and their managers won't stop it, then it is down to the FA to take action. (And now I realise the flaw in my cunning plan :) )

And the race goes on. Perhaps in some cases it shouldn't, but the athletes get on with it.

Keita took it a new level on Saturaday by applying the bag of ice to his phantom injury after getting subbed.
