For a game that takes 4 hours to complete with an average of 12 minutes actual play time, every game is boring.

By no means suggesting it is the quickest game in the world, the 12 minutes doesn't really ring true. I'd be interested in the source.

Regardless I find the appeal is generally to those who appreciated a highly strategical game, similar in some ways to cricket. No doubt it's a difficult sport to get yourself into.
