Not quite sure what people have against Painter. They say its his pace but Vincelot is no faster!!

Ankergren
Calderon, Dunk, Greer, Painter
Reyes, Bridcutt
Buckley, Vicente, Noone
CMS

Yeah you are right about Marcos, a good reliiable left back in my opinion. Dont think you are too far out in terms of the startiing eleven either. My only possible change would be to play Reyes in place of Calde at right back, and bring in Billy Paynter or Ash to help out CMS up front.

Yeah you are right about Marcos, a good reliiable left back in my opinion.

Love the guy to bits, top attitude, but he's not up to it at the moment. He gave away what were 2 quite clear penalties on Saturday (ok, neither were given, but they were agreed upon by most). He backed off Richardson for the cross for the first goal to allow the cross in too, for which he had far too much time. Even Ricky Lambert beat him for pace down the wing, and then turned him inside out.

Could not get to Southampton on Saturday so just watched hightlights on internet. Not one chance to the Seagulls. Saints only "real" goal came in a very predictable manner. Long ball to far post and no height to challenge for the ball. We have obvious weaknesses at full back and in midfield. Big questions for Saturday relate to fitness and ability of anybody coming back to last 90 minutes. Ability of forwards unknown as they get such poor service. So if everybody fit (a really big if) this would be my team:

Ankergren (assuming we cannot get another loan keeper in the meantime)
Calderon: Greer: Dunk: Painter
Reyes: Bridcutt
Vicente/Buckley (a shift each as either unlikely to last 90 minutes): Paynter: CMS: KLL

Noone needs a rest but could share shift with KLL. We need to see what Paynter can do in a team more set up to attack. If Reyes is not fit I suppose it has to be Sparrow.
