Exceeded expectations by a long chalk. He played a blinder and still charsimatic and full of energy. Walkin With A Mountain was fantastic. I love the preBowie Mott, and would recommend the Island Years (only 99p on amazon!) to anyone interested in rock, metal and early punk- massive influence on The CLash, Pistols and The Replacements. Wished i'd seen the Mott reunion last year now! Only Neil Young can match him for still "having it" at his age.

The Group: Mott The Hoople with Ian Hunter.

A Guy offers Ian a seat in the packed venue.

"I'm not a fecking cripple" says the charming Ian.
