Saw them at 19.50 near rottingdean coming along the coast road, 3 motorcycles in front, 3 police vans and a bike at the rear. Thought it might be a prisoner escort? Couldn't work out where they would be going though.

Yeah got to the station (Brighton) about five to eight so 8:20 is about right.

They came up the A26 from Lewes at 5pm then headed south towards Eastbourne - on each roundabout the front one pealed off to block road to clear route for the others - reckon it was a training excercise or was it linked to the "lights"in the sky
