Must be trying to keep stewarding costs down

Sounds like this is the case. They could only open a stand or 2 and it could also mean they will find it easier to try to anticipate the amount of food / drink they need to supply for the crowd size, etc....

This tie was never going to be a money-spinner as both teams will be focusing on the league and trying to get promotion

A few years ago they had real problems when Millwall came up for the day when Hull were doing well in the Premier League and the Lions were a moderate League One club. Not quite as bad as Luton in 1985 but certainly enough arrests that day for the police to want to know how many Brighton are travelling on Saturday as cup ties can vary wildly in the number of fans travelling.

Maybe a possible explanation for the bollock ache of making it all-ticket?

And the FA need to have think tanks to understand why the FA Cup is dying on its feet - make it even more difficult to figure out how to get in to a match - when the crowd will be tiny anyway - let's see if that cracks the problem !
