Gate receipts - say 1/3 of 60,000 at £25 each ? (£500,000)
TV rights (£50,000 ?)
Merchandising (£50,000 ?)
Paying Mickey off £400,000 ?

Could cost the club a million ?

Only rough guessing !

Then there's the mercandising, the local deals as sponsers climb on the bandwagon, the 'feel good' which might have generated more interest & fans and maybe even better results.

And just how much did we lose? Apart from the negative feeling and some fans who have had enough there's players like Kuipers & Forster who have missed probably their last chance to play at Wembley. You wonder if there's been hidden unrest this will now come to the surface. And there's a fair number of older fans who may have lost their last chance to see us at Wembley.

The club also weighed in with a fortune on laying on free transport. It looked a good bet, 2 games against a poor side a division below them for a chance to net the best part of £1m. The board won't be happy, the books need to be balenced and theirs been no big departure so far.

But then again, our playing stock has gone down. What the likes of Elphick, Lynch & Cox may have fetched last season, well it's nothing like we'd get now.

Last nights result cost us the ability to bring in some decent new players for next season.

Still, could be worse: we could be 'playing' in League 2 next season!

It may have cost us alot in terms of team morale/ability to beat relegation this season.
