I bought my first season ticket in the 1997/98 season and held it until the 2003/04 season.
Up until that point I had always paid on the gate. I guess I bought my first season ticket in reaction to what had happened to the club. I wanted to make a point of support. It seemed that if I paid up front that could only send out a positive message that people wanted this club to survive.
I then became a season ticket holder again last season and renewed this season. I don't intend on relinquishing it ever again.
